Is it true that throwing rice at a wedding is harmful for birds? - wedding rice
I've heard that when the rice is thrown after a wedding when the birds eat the swollen bellies and later their detriment.
Some people I talk to say, this is absolutely ridiculous.
Someone knows the truth behind all this?

It is not too ridiculous, cuz if a bird eats one of their stomachs can eat full of other things, on this day .. and when he comes and eats a little rice to the rice, the temperature of the stomach will expand, many birds. . From what I understand, is true. Rice growing in liquid form, which is for humans. Only when we eat makes us quite dry ... I guess. I've never tried - who eat only what is already overcrowded. But from the stomach of a bird is so small, when the rice is eaten dry, stomach rupture in May. Not cool for a birdie. It is perfectly logical to me. Not only is harmful - they die.
